The winds of opposition to the Christian faith are blowing, yet with the Lord’s help, they can become catalytic, not catastrophic. Looking at key passages found in the Book of Acts, Larry Stamm’s Into the Gale shows how this transformation can be accomplished. The key to that transformation is for churches, and for the individual Christians that make up THE Church, to stay focused on why we are here…to share the Gospel through both our words and our actions. Into the Gale is a reminder that we have the Holy Spirit as our own “rushing mighty wind” (Acts 2:2), and that harnessing that power is the key to sharing Christ effectively in the face of opposition. You will be encouraged, challenged and helped by this unique take on the lessons in the Book of Acts.
Larry Stamm had me hooked from the Preface of this book. Every believer has a ministry weather they realize it or not. Into The Gale does a great job of explaining the feelings we all have in professing our faith in the Lord to others amid opposition. It also shows how we are still fighting the same fights 1st century Christians had to fight. If you want to grow in your personal witness, this book is a must read.
