Yom Kippur Livestream Teaching
September 25 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The Feasts of Israel were many things to ancient Israel. Among them, they were corporate quiet times when the people stopped everything and focused their attention on God – who He was and what He had done for them.
Additionally, the Feasts of Israel were also signposts – powerful signposts that boldly communicated in so many words – “This way to Messiah!”
You see, each of the Feasts, in one sense, were prophetic in nature – in that they pointed to the future person and work of Jesus, the Messiah!
The Fall Feasts of Israel begin in late September and run through early October. They are, in order, Rosh Hashannah – The Jewish New Year, also known as the Feast of Trumpets (September 19); Yom Kippur – The Day of Atonement (September 29); and the Feast of Tabernacles – known as Sukkot in Hebrew (a 7-day festival beginning October 3).
Join me for a series of Facebook Livecast Teachings on the Fall Feasts and the Christian. Did you know that not only do these feasts point to Jesus, they also communicate these powerful motifs – repentance, redemption, and rejoicing – all part of our salvation story as Christians.
We’ll go live at 7pm on each of these nights: Thursday, Sept. 17 (Rosh Hashannah); Monday, Sept. 25 (Yom Kippur); and Thursday, Oct. 3 (The Feast of Tabernacles). We hope you join us on our Facebook page!
