This is the final year-long exploration in Larry’s book, Jewish Roots of Christianity.

When we think about bible study, in both understanding and interpreting God’s Word, we better understand a text when we understand its context. In light of that principle, what is the context of the New Testament? The Old Testament! For example, Jesus said in Matthew 5:17, “I have not come to abolish the law and the prophets. I have come to fulfill.” Therefore in order to better understand the person and work of Jesus, we need to better understand what it was he came to fulfill. Let’s gain a deeper appreciation and love for the things that were important to Jesus together at the final monthly fellowship.
