Bagel & Bible Study

August 8 @ 8:00 am - 9:30 am

I have the joy of teaching Jewish Roots of Christianity at Summit Leadership in Johnson City over the course of the next year. Every second Wednesday of the month we’ll enjoy fellowship in the Word. During this series I’ll be sharing material based on my book, Jewish Roots of Christianity: A Biblical Survey of Redemptive History from Genesis to Revelation.”

This month’s topic is taken from chapter 9, The Fall Feasts of Israel. Israel’s national life has revolved around the feasts commanded by the Lord and they generally occur in the spring and fall seasons. At our next Bible study, we will examine the fall feasts which include the holiest days on the Jewish calendar. These are Trumpets or Rosh Hashanna, the Day of Atonement or Yom Kippur, and Tabernacles. All the feasts of the Lord hold deep prophetic meaning. All the feasts point to Jesus the Messiah!

Join me as we examine God’s plan of redemption as it has unfolded through the ages. The Jewish roots of our Christian faith are our heritage!

Coffee will be served. BYOB: bring your own bagel.
