Dutch theologian Hermann Witsius observed, “God created the whole world in 6 days, but he used 40 to instruct Moses about the Tabernacle. Little over 1 chapter was needed to describe the structure of the world, but 6 were used for the tabernacle.” If it’s that important to God then it should be important to us! In fact the Tabernacle (aka Mishkan) was based on a heavenly pattern as the author of Hebrews instructs (Heb 8:5).
