Special Event

Simeon was “waiting for the consolation of Israel” (Luke 2:25). His name means “God has heard” and he witnessed God’s love in action! His great hope that God’s ancient promises would come to pass were fulfilled as he eagerly awaited the consolation of his nation, the ultimate messianic deliverance. And that deliverance was for all nations! Are you waiting in faith like Simeon for God’s promises to come to pass in present days? Are you longing for His appearing (2 Timothy 4:7-8)?
