Walk Through the Jewish Holidays with Larry: Sukkot

Sukkot, or the Feast of Tabernacles, serves as a backdrop for the life story of Jesus and supplies great meaning for His followers who value their Old Testament heritage. It is a week-long joyous feast during which Larry’s fellow Jewish people construct and dwell in temporary shelters (aka sukkah booths) as a way of remembering their wilderness wanderings (Leviticus 23:42-43). Sukkot is unique among other festivals as Scripture tells us that one day people from all the nations of the world will celebrate it together (Zechariah 14:16).
